Short Bio

Hey there, my name's John, and like many of us I've gone by a number of nicknames before deciding on the one I use now, Bigplays.

I started gaming when I was incredibly young, my parents used to buy me point and click adventure games which ultimately taught me how to use a computer.

You could say my first real games were Starcraft and Warcraft 2. My dad got me started with it, and was very patient in teaching me how to play. Needless to say, these were a big step up from point and click adventure games! Thanks to him I became a pretty hardcore gamer.

I really found my passion in competitive gaming with WoW Arena. Though sadly the e-sports scene in WoW Arena is only a former shell of it once was. I have gotten rank 1 in arena 3 seasons in a row now, though I have grown incredibly tired of the game and I'm no longer looking to play any sort of competitive arena.

In my free time I like to play the stock market, read, work out, and of course play PC games. I really enjoy MMOs and Moba's specifically. I'm very much looking forward to Guild Wars 2 as I hope to rekindle my passion for e-sports with it.
