I'm going into college next year and am going to be buying a laptop. I'm looking for a laptop that can run Guild Wars 2, Leauge of Legends, and Counter Strike: Global Offensive (GW2 probably being the most demanding). Are there any recommendations for laptops preferably under $800 or at the VERY maximum $1000?
I've built my own PC before, but I've never really looked into building a laptop is that more cost effective/worth the time and effort to learn?
I've never overclocked anything and probably not looking to start unless its a mandatory to meet my needs.
Thanks for the help!

The deals on the Lenovo gaming laptops are really really good. There's one here for $850 that has an i7 and a GTX 660

Those Lenovos look pretty solid.
Everytime someone asks about laptops, we have to mention Sager here. They make some fantastic laptops that are tough and powerful, and many of them are actually upgradeable (you have to check and see on each one though, just don't make assumptions.)
