I was just curious to see if there are any old school UO players apart of this community. I still continue to play this game on the side in servers such as In Por Yelm 1 and 2 between the major games. Always been a favorite of mine and I love to play it to this day! even though its from 97.....
If you did play this game you may be interested to know that an FFA server is coming out created by "Something Awful" that should be great fun to play while we await Guild Wars 2. http://relpor.com/

This game is my personal favorite. I played
From 98-2002 taking a few breaks for other MMO's. I have also played a few of the competitive Pvp free shards that have come out over the last decade.

Still play UO today on the RunUO freeshard "UO Gamers: Hybrid". I've played UO for a long time. Used to be an event master on Defiance: AOS and Hybrid. I've retired from staffing, but keep my moonglow house from decaying every Monday. Still one of my favorite games, although mostly out of nostalgia.

UO was my first MMO as well. I met some incredible people, did amazing pvp, and became completely immersed in that game during early high school. My favorite experience was spending time in an Orc RP guild which essentially rampaged the countryside - looting and pillaging as we went.

Old post, but wanted to say that I loved this game a lot (first MMO) and met some of my very long time friends in this game! I used to play on Chessy and three of us are now playing GW2. I enjoyed server wars at the GY!
Glad to see some people here that even know this game.

Was my first MMO ever and in my opinion the best ever made. I have yet to find an MMO that matches the quality of UO.
