This week on Tales of Tyria: The regular co-hosts have the night off this week, as Bridger invites 4 members of the Team Legacy Structured PvP team on the show to discuss the status of SPvP as of Beta Weekend Event #2. We talk overall impressions, responsivness, balance, builds, and much more.
So what were your thoughts on Structured PvP in BWE #2? What's missing? What worked well?

I find it fun to hop in with a group of friends when I am bored of WvW, it's a nice change of pace and it still gives a feel of accomplishing something with the glory system.

I really enjoyed this episode. It gave an extremely precise and detailed look into certain classes/builds from extremely dedicated people. Very cool.
While I plan on spending the majority of my time in WvW, sPVP is necessary.

Very cool episode I like how educated they were on the subject. The nice parts about having the "experts" on so to speak is you dont have alot of tearing down of classes etc for the non pro pvpers when they run into a tough class they are like "Oh my! NERF THEMZ!" but I liked how they handled the guardian they were like just moa the damn guardian and no problem haha made me laugh!

I think a lot of the whole balance complains in gw2 are a bit silly! The ability to completely negate many skills on your own demand is based on reading the animations and understanding all the classes and what they are trying to do to you. Though in 1 weekend no one has that chance, so certain things, much like the gaurdian book or bubble shields can be completely turned worthless with a short string of moves most of the time. There seems to be a large amount of counter play in things like casting times, interupts, and dodges that take a 180 cooldown skill from god tier to not viable!

I'm pretty sure that armor in SPvP is only usable in SPvP.

Yeah it is only available in the Mists and sPvP once you leave there it reverts back to your PvE set for WvW and normal PvE
