I was already eyeing the Gigabyte after Free recommended it on ToT, but after reading the below comment on Amazon it sealed the deal. I watched newegg for a week and finally it was in stock for under an hour and I got it. It's supposed to arrive tomorrow!

I am curious why the three fan setup? More is not necessarily better.
Let's do the math. If you have three fans running a modest 50 cfm or 1,440 cubic inches per second. Multiply that by three and You have 4320 cubic inches of air coming in and leaving your video card every second.
This gets concerning when you look at the exhaust on the video card. You have perhaps three square inches of exhaust port (this is being REAL generous). The air coming out of the exhaust port has to travel at 1440 inches per second, or 81 miles per hour.
So, why not stick with one well designed fan?

Are you really trying to make an argument that the single fan EVGA has better cooling stock then the GIGABYTE does are you?
It not just the tri-fans its also the heatsinks and copper tubing as well that makes it cool and able to overclock higher then an EVGA right out of the box.
Now before you all get your panties in a bunch over what i said remember i said better cooling STOCK not after you strap on your water cooling or take the shroud off and put your own tri-fan on.

Easy boy!
No one has their panties in a wad here.
I just threw out some math.
I like math. I am a mechanical engineer, so I will do that from time to time.
Take it or leave it. No matter to me.

LOL i was making this in reference of all the ppl there were going to bash what I was going to say that they could get way more overclocking by just adding water cooling or changing this or that. When i was merely talking about buying both of them stock without changing anything.
But if you do refer to the article i posted the clearly show that the Gigabyte has better cooling overall. From what I know though most non-reference cards like the Gigabyte you are unable to strap water cooling on though.
