This video made me sad inside. I'm not going to talk about the Guardian simply because I never played one. However, I feel Warrior's play style was all wrong.
What bothered me at first was his discipline traits. I guess they could work, but there are better. I get it that he wants to use eviscerate a lot, but he wasn't very mobile so the likelihood that he'd build up enough adrenaline shortly before to shortly after his eviscerate was up is unlikely. I think he could've sacrificed one of them for Heightened Focus, Signet Mastery, Mighty Defenses, or even a skill set with not so much mobility would be my personal favorite, Warrior's Spirit.
When I lost it is when he said to only use axe/shield. I'm not so sure how you guys feel, but never at any time should any Warrior only use one weapon set. There is so much more potential that he had. He could've used a rifle and kept those bleeds going, some fair burst with Volley, kept his enemy crippled, and even kept his vulnerability stacks up. With that I could possibly justify both reduced burst skill and adrenaline needed because he could consistently keep his adrenaline building. If he didn't want to do that, then why not just use a weapon that has mobility like the Greatsword. He could fly into him and even if he wasn't close enough, it's bound in a SPvP environment that they were fighting in, at that point he could just cripple his target and finish with an eviscerate.

Damn, I clicked here hoping for news on the dueling system. Anyways, I would give this video an "ok" rating. The guy commentating sounded like he was trying a bit to hard to be epic and captivating (no offense). It would have also been more interesting to see different builds at work, but I guess this IS the first episode, so we'll have to wait and see.

One Inherent problem you may run into if you make duel videos, is that they won't be really applicable to competitive PvP.
You'll have people make builds that will absolutely dominate 1v1 like the Bull's Charge/Frenzy Warrior I've seen a couple times. However that won't be reflective of actual builds in competitive play, and thus the 1v1 dynamics will be different.

I have to agree with Demosthenes here. I can give just a little more input on Guardian, since I can't for warrior, to back up Demo's post.
The Guardian is using Hammer and Greatsword. This is bad, he should choose one or the other, and in my opinion his weapon sets should have been Greatsword and Sword + Focus. Within those two weapon sets, you get 3 blinds, which you can keep up relatively easy. He would even have minimal utility skill usage if you used those two weapon sets and was aggressive, as the Warrior would have missed a lot of his attacks and since the warrior went full glasscannon, it would have been a no-brainer. Two of the blinds in these weapon sets close the distance between the guardian and warrior, as well as the 5 skill for greatsword. With Aegis and all the blinds, the warrior is at a severe disadvantage here with that glasscannon build.
Both players here could have used their classes much better if they paid more attention to the abilities available in each weapon set.
I don't see this series too promising, and in response to Fatalis, I don't think the general idea is to get better at competitive PvP. I think they just want to appeal to the Arena Deathmatch guys, which is cool because that's appealing to me since I understand the game. But these players weren't very efficient with their classes so, the appeal probably won't serve them very well in the long-run.

Warrior why you no use rifle.
Warrior why you no greatsword.
Warrior why you pick bad utilities.
Bleh.
QFT. It was very painful watching this video because:
1. Both players were using bad skillsets.
2. Both players were using bad trait setups.
3. Both players played very badly in general. Badly bad badness of baditude. I mean cmon, the Warrior doesn't even do anything the first minute of the duel. He looks like he just woke up and is suddently like "oh some guy is attacking me, I'll just dodge and move around for a bit before I attack".
I don't know who these guys are, but they aren't going to get very far making mediocre videos of poorly skilled players dueling in youtube. They look like they're trying to make a name for themselves in the broadcasting youtube community, so they should shift gears away from making niche targeted videos.

Both contestants pigeonholed themselves traits wise and the overall gameplay footage wasn't exciting since there wasn't any 'skillful' play going on, they were just mashing buttons and not using their utilities effectively which would of helped in many of the situations.
Overall with the average players and the forced commentary I would have to give it a 3, could of been a lot worse but this definitely needed a second opinion before going live.
