Hello everyone. I have this course in my computer science major, Artificial Intelligence. Its been really a tough class all year, as it deals with some very difficult concepts and programming for basic AI. Anyhow, our prof threw us a curve ball for the final, which is to watch the Movie Artificial Intelligence (2001) and then compare the basic concepts in the movie to how they are in real life. For example, neural networks. I was wondering if any of you have seen articles that address this so I can study up and be better prepared for the test. At the moment she has intentionally veiled the exact form of the test in secret, no doubt to entice us to learn everything we can about it. If you aren't aware of any articles about this (i've gone google 15 pages deep, still nothing
), feel free to discuss your own thoughts.

Do you still need help finding something? I really think you could get some info off google if you keep looking. You could also try searching scientific journals, and I would use your school computers for that because most schools have a search engine for that kind of thing. You could always even trying asking your prof for ideas on where to start looking. Any professor who isn't a complete asshole would be delighted that you're taking an interest in the subject and would probably help you get started. Also, that movie freaked me out as a kid.

Hey, yeah our school has a massive online database for articles and such, its just the search parameters are difficult, since the movie and the subject matter are exactly the same. It's fine though, I have a better idea what to study thanks to the teachers assistant so I should be fine at this point.
