Still no email here, but fully downloaded and ready to go. When I put in my log in credentials it says my account is ready but there just isn't a beta at the time. I am under the impression this means that i'm all set to wreck some faces come Friday. :3

Seems that the reason people cant get on the forums is because there are too many people currently on it trying to download.

Haha, Im conflicted. I want to start DLing now, but Im going to have my new computer at some point this week, so Im worried that theres no point till I have it lol.

The beta client downloads to a folder you create on your computer. It is just 3 or 4 files that are self contained. Just copy the folder to whatever computer you like and then run a shortcut to your desktop. Enjoy

Got mine all setup, took about an hour. You can setup audio and video options too from the login screen. Like to have all my stuff in order, so I'm ready to go!

How do you get to the video and audio settings? I'm not seeing it.

Ughh... 8 hours and I am at 32% Guess it will take all day for me to download it!! For some reason I am downloading 1/3 of my maximum speed.

IMO, no. It's just a beta weekend. When the game goes "live" on release date, it will be worth it then to have the day off.

Though, if you're going to go serious competitive pro-gaming, and want the extra time to practice PvP, then it might be worth it to take the half day. Then you're exchanging time at one job, to practice for your other career.
