- I can build a computer, but once you get into the high tech stuff, I'm clueless without youtube.

- System Specs:

- My expectation: I want to be able to run the game with at least 60 FPS. I'm sure I won't be able to do this on "max" settings, but at high as I can go. I just want my game to be smooth and beautiful for GW2.

I know its not the "top of the line", but I think it gets the job done... I just want some pointers or tips, on if there is anything else I can change or should I upgrade to. I wanted to get another 6850(70) and crossfire them, but I would need a much larger PSU with more Watt.

I would imagine that the final release you will run very well. Actually achieving constant 60fps is a high standard that will probably require a crossfire solution. However, as is, you will Probly run 40-60 fps at release. Your 6870 is no slouch and your CPU, though not as fast as Intel alternatives, should perform admirably. I would recommend sitting tight for an optimized release and then determining if you need to upgrade. If you can burn money for fun, then a new PSU and a crossfire should be your next target to achieve gaming nirvana.

Voison I would give some serious thought in changing your setup to a sandybridge 2500k and mobo such as the asrock. The prices have gone down quite a bit, and you will find a decent increase in performance, not to mention the OC capabilities.

I'd stay away from Radeon cards as well, as they are known to cause massive amounts of artifacts/glitches in GW2. (see bug reports -> 90% of reports are ATI).

My 2 cents.
