Really I think the month of august is it. Any father and its kinda a long gap between per-purchase and release and any shorter and they land in the summer vacation months. I think die hard fans would play all day in summer, but most games I think loose player time, nothing like homework to make you procrastinate in your favorite mmo!!

Plus, I graduate in August so if it comes out then I will be able to play a lot more. =)

Yeah I actually thought about it selfishly, I.E. I can play much more in the summer, but most people will be busy with vacations/still working/summer classes. Even still, I would be happy if it came out sooner than later. Hopefully not in the middle of finals week though

Release Date: 6/26/2012. If you go to gamestop and find guild wars 2 it has a release date listed. So im guessing its going to be on or around that time...

25th June! My Birthday, on the Monday! After a 'guess' BWE from 22nd-24th They can imply it will end with a bang, and if it goes off without a hitch they can announce the release date! that would also be the 3rd BWE fulfilling the 'multiple' BWE's previously stated! Wishful thinking I know but what can I say lol

They are just making a wild guess, and their previous guesses on GW2 were not so accurate. I think the date they gave is too soon, why make week end beta events once a month if you are only going to have 2 maybe 3 of them then the release? =S

Honestly 2 is the number I would expect. If they open it up to that many people, then the game is near complete. I would doubt they would use us for actual game testing at this point. After the first, any additional beta events are for advertising purposes as word of mouth is much more valuable than advertisements on tv.
