I have been wanting to play this game for such a long time. However, I don't a console to play it with. For those of you who are in the same situation as me, there is a site that is signing a petition to port Dark Souls to PC, if anybody is interested:
http://petitionburea.../DarkSoulsForPC
More than 80,000 people have signed already!
It takes less than 5 minutes to sign up.

I've signed this a while ago, hopefully it does it ported over to PC. Can't stand the horrid framerate on consoles.

I would be SOOOO surprised if they actually make a PC version. When I start talking about Japan I tend to be over verbose, so I won't write all of the things I'm thinking here but let me at least say this: In Japan you basically have two types of stores you can buy PC games. You've got the store that only sells interactive novels (mostly erotic) and then you've got Western import stores. It's extremely rare to see a purely Japan developed game go from console to PC, because it's just a tiny market in that country.
That being said, I hope that they see enough potential profit to justify it, but in my experience Japanese publishers/developers tend to be very close-minded (read: focused on Japan only) regardless of any potential in the international market.

I have the collector's edition for my ps3, unopened as I have not played it yet. I would rather play it on the PC for various reasons.
