EDIT:
Update, an older tool for skill building was updated today to reflect recent changes and now has a trait builder in it. Here is the link:

Old post:

Works pretty well, here's a couple examples of trait builds I planned out for my necro and mesmer:

Ah good, I was waiting for one of these to show up. This should take my mind off waiting forthe game for a good day or two...

Made a build for a mobile, ganker type Ranger, definetely want to test it out in-game first though:

I actually prefer the trait page in wiki than this. It looks nice with the layouts and all but with the wiki trait page, i can see everything without hovering my mouse over the trait. I would count the page more useful if the developer implements update to the skill recharge time, dmg modifier to armor and weapon after trait effects, etc.

Nevertheless, it's a nice simple way to let ppl see how the trait system works.

Thief (main): http://www.gw2tools....cUa.Zaa.aaa.Waa

Focusing on stealth basically, poisons and steal.

Mesmer: http://www.gw2tools....aaa.Xea.Zaa.cWb

Based on conditions, creating illusions, and toughness to survive.

What do you guys think? Any feedbacks?

A dagger-wielding elementalist specialized for single target killing in strutured PvP. High crit chance/damage from air, 25% faster move speed by default, and extra defense and damage from earth for survivability. Major weakness in this design is a lack of AoE focus or support focus.

That wiki page is definitely a great resource to learning about and comparing traits. But the trait builder is great for sharing and comparing your builds with others.

The GW2 Luna-Atra french site finally updated their skills and trait builder. So now you can find both in one page:

Yeah just found it a couple of minutes ago. It seems it's still WIP as there's a lot of bugs and missing info.

I believe this is the most updated Skill calculator I've seen, so with that being said, "May the theorycrafting begin!"

I will have to go and created them again and repost it here, had alot of fun theorycrafting with builds etc. Can be a bit difficult when there is no damaga stated on alot of the abilitys. Going to be playing probally a guardian and necro
