Team Legacy Golem Warfare

Team Legacy decided to cap off the weekend by doing something we didn't see anyone else doing - building 120 golems and marching them point to point. Over the course of the weekend, Team Legacy amassed over 800 gold of wealth, and near the end, decided to blow it. We looked at a multitude of options - - fireworks? Nah. Mass Trebs? Maybe. Golem Suit for every member of Team Legacy? Ohhhh yes...We then picked the borderland that had the most opposition and went to work, laying down over 100 blueprints that each takes 100 supply to build. We teleported back and forth between our points and sucked every single keep in WvW dry... and finally got our result. Doom was coming.

Today GW2 gets another content update. This one brings more to WvW, as well as a new mini-game (I loved Keg Brawl hehe), and making a use for Southsun Cove, other than farming T6 mats.

...is it anything like City of Heroes or should I just get that out of my mind, move on and get a life? I just played City of Heroes/Villains for so long and now that it's no longer playing something different seems wrong....

Yeah we did. It was amazing, and actually, thanks to that I actually got around to trying some other things (professions, sPvP, dungeon and of course jumping puzzles
Yes, because of this, I spent more time in sPvP and trying another profession. On Sunday morning I finally got some action because I woke up for server reset.
Back to Golem warfare............ please let me run fast again!
i was on kaineng and was getting so frustrated the fact we couldnt even capture one keep in WvW...
so instead i went and toured lions arch for about 2 or 3 hours and raised about 40 or 50 gold on the trading post (doing what I heard the tales of tyria guys were talking about and how they go their 300 gold in the first weekend) when one of the squad commanders starded asking for help because there where " seemingly endless amounts of golems steam rolling thier way around the map"
my thought was that they were just being... overly dramatic and there were only 2 maybe 3 golems around
but now i know it was TL trolling us...
a shame I couldn't be there being the one that could stop you all with a better tactic than zerging tower to tower like the rest of the squad commanders were doing
(planing seemed to be something people don't do anymore)
The videos are simply amazing. Especially watching that door melt.
